Get information about what to consider when buying a plug-in hybrid or electric car.  Learn about the similarities and differences between electric vehicles and traditional cars, how different car manufacturers are approaching the market, what models are already in the market and which are coming to the market in the near future.  The speaker, Jukka Kukkonen, also will address charging options, maintenance needs, range questions, safety and other information you need to become a well-informed buyer.

Jukka Kukkonen in president of the Minnesota Electric Auto Associatiion (http://www.mneaa.com), an educational non-profit organization that promotes plug-in electric vehicles.  An automotive engineer by training, he used to work for Ford Europe in technical training and dealership business development.  For the last few years, Kukkonen has concentrated on following developments in the electric vehicle market.
