Membership

Thanks to our contributors, The Phipps Center for the Arts has enjoyed over two decades of consistent, increasing support. Annual Fund campaign goals have been met and capital campaigns have been successful. We continue to strive to build endowment as well in order to sustain the mission in the future. We trust our loyal donors enjoy the satisfaction of supporting the outstanding regional arts programs and services provided by The Phipps. In partnership with artists, patrons and contributors, The Phipps Center enhances the quality of life in the St. Croix Valley.

Any adult who wishes to advance the programs and operations of The Phipps Center and makes a monetary contribution after November 1, 2006, will be a member during the 2007 calendar year. If a contribution is made by joint check, each person named on the check will be a member.

In appreciation for the support of friends of The Phipps Center for the Arts, the Board of Directors has instituted the following benefits for members in 2007:

• Voting rights at the Annual Meeting
• Eligibility to enter the Annual Members’ Art Exhibition
• Twenty percent discount on the opening weekend of A Gift by the Hand, the annual holiday exhibition and sale

Members making gifts of $25 and more

• Subscription to Marquee, the bimonthly newsletter featuring advance notice of performances, exhibitions, and classes, in addition to the benefits listed above

Members making gifts of $75 and more
will be recognized as members of The Contributors Circle

• Recognition in season program covers in addition to the benefits listed above

Members making gifts of $275 and more
will be recognized as members of The Phipps Circle

• Discounts on select classes
• Invitations to special occasions and receptions

Members making gifts of $1,000 and more

Corporations making gifts of $50 and more

Sponsorships
Annual Fund contributors of $250 or more are given the first opportunity to sponsor a Phipps performance or exhibition. In addition to promoting your business in the community, your sponsorship will ensure that this type of programming continues at The Phipps. Sponsorships begin at $500, but must be no less than the production expenses for the exhibition or performance.
